The St. Louis area Southeast Missouri State University alumni population is diverse and large reflecting the longstanding, five-decade relationship between St. Louisans and Southeast. Among a variety of activities designed to build and maintain this relationship, St. Louis Cares is a "grass roots" effort offering a unique opportunity for an alumnus to give back and help secure an educated and productive future for our local youth.

To develop and sustain a student aid program for St. Louis area students who exhibit a well-defined financial need and a strong desire to attend Southeast Missouri State University.

There are a variety of ways to participate in this Southeast alumni effort including the following:

  • Attend meetings to provide input or join the team
  • Make a direct donation to the endowment from this website
  • Assist with special alumni events to raise funds for the endowment
  • Offer guidance and support to a scholarship recipient
